Kite Across the Bay 2016 (KATB), will be an inclusive and inspiring 45kms journey travelling across Melbourne’s famous Port Phillip Bay from Frankston to Port Melbourne. A unique opportunity to experience Port Phillip Bay in a way like never before, fully supported as Australia’s largest kitesurf event in history. In addition, in 2016 for the first time will be trialling windsurfing in the event line-up for potential full inclusion 2017.

Spots are strictly limited to 150 kitesurfers and 50 windsurfers this year so, don’t miss out and register now.

Event holding dates are 20th – 21th or 27th – 28th of February. Depending on wind and weather forecasts event organisers will determine the best day for the event to run.

To register all you have to do is:

  • Complete the participant form
  • Pay your registration fee of $130.00
  • Set up your Everyday Hero fundraising page.

Once you have completed all three steps you will receive a confirmation email with training and fundraising tips.

Be aware participation in Kite Across the Bay is of the understanding of the event holding dates and acknowledging to potential for dates and conditions to impact on the event. Joining fee and fundraising are non-refundable. Event organisers will do everything possible to ensure the event is held during the advertised period.
